The Regional Indigenous Patient Navigator supports navigation of patients and families in the cancer system who identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis by either clinician or self-referral. This includes:
- Supporting patients at clinic visits (attends with patient/family)
- Accessing and provide spiritual and community supports
- Assistance with applications for financial and transportation services

Indigenous Relationship and Cultural Competency Courses
- Designed to strengthen cultural competency and understanding of First Nation, Inuit and Métis history and knowledge
- Total of nine courses, which have been accredited by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 8.5 Mainpro-M1 credits
- Free of charge and open to anyone
- Can be taken at your own pace, from any computer, smartphone or tablet
